Savion Glover’s STePz is yet another exuberant celebration of tap dance to sound and sound to dance. In this production, Glover and his ensemble of dancers (TLHS) take tap dance to new heights and levels while fusing traditional music of the past with his self-proclaimed tap style and energy of the future. This performance exposes Glover’s capability of all complexities of jazz phrasing, both bass line and melody, the wild improvisations, structures and deconstruction, from departure to return. Savion Glover’s STePz will once again display the infinite versatility and virtuoso of his genius as a tap master.
